If your health stops regenerating out of combat in WoW Forever, you're not alone: players are reporting it as a bug on Blizzard's forums. We found no staff reply when we checked on 5 November, and it isn't on Blizzard's known issues list yet. So everything below is unverified.
What players describe
From threads on the bug report board and general forum:
- Health stops coming back while you're clearly out of combat.
- A reload doesn't fix it. Logging out can give a few seconds of regen before it stops again.
- One player says food and water still work, and filled them up instantly when regen had stopped.
- One player says it came back after their character died, then broke again later.
What to try
- Eat and drink. If food still works, it's the quickest way to keep playing.
- Log out fully and back in.
- Remove buffs or debuffs you don't need, in case one of them keeps you flagged.
- Report it on the bug report board with your class, level and what you were doing before it broke. Blizzard asks for details in its bug forum guidelines.
Turning off add-ons is worth one test as well, though players report this with add-ons off too.
A beta fix that doesn't seem related
Blizzard's notes say a beta bug that stopped creatures regenerating health was fixed. That one was about enemies, not players.
We'll update this page when Blizzard says something. New staff posts appear on our updates page.
