No, WoW Forever has no automatic Dungeon Finder that builds a group and teleports you in. It has a Looking For Group tool where you list yourself or browse other groups, then travel to the dungeon together. A forum thread asking Blizzard to add a Dungeon Finder passed 90 replies on launch day. Blizzard hasn't promised one.
What Forever has
Blizzard's development notes mention a Looking For Group window and a Group Finder with a Show All Level Ranges checkbox. Group Finder postings can also invite people into voice chat.
How to use it
- Open the Looking For Group window.
- Pick your role and the dungeon.
- List yourself, or browse the groups that are listed.
- Whisper or invite, then meet at the entrance.
If your dungeon isn't in the list, tick Show All Level Ranges. Guides say meeting stones open this tool rather than summoning you. We haven't confirmed that ourselves.
When a friend vanishes after you group
This is a known problem with grouping. On 5 November Blizzard's Kaivax asked players whether a blue message appears in the lower right after joining a party, and whether clicking it offers Refresh Now. If you see it, click it and choose Refresh Now, which should put you in the same world as your party. Blizzard is still collecting reports. See why the world feels empty.
Which dungeon to run
Our dungeon list has every dungeon by level. The new Forever dungeons each have a role guide, for example City of Dalaran at levels 28 to 33.
Before you queue up for anything, check your role and class. Tanks and healers find groups much faster.
