WoW Forever can't log in or servers down: where to check
Updated 2026-11-03

If you can't log in to WoW Forever or think the servers are down, check Blizzard's own pages first, because this site doesn't track live server status. We can't tell you whether anything is down right now, and neither can most sites that claim to.
Before 4 November at 3:00 pm PST, the game isn't open at all. Blizzard's early name reservation window for pack owners ends on 3 November. Launch time for your zone is on the launch hub.
Where to check status
- Blizzard Support: the banner at the top of the site carries breaking news and the weekly maintenance schedule.
- Realm Status page: when we checked on 2 November, its game version menu listed World of Warcraft, Classic, Burning Crusade Classic and Mists of Pandaria Classic, with no Forever entry. Check it again after launch.
- Technical Support forum: if a lot of people report the same error at the same time, you'll see it there. Treat player posts as reports, not as announcements.
If you can't log in
Blizzard's return guide points to these, all through Blizzard Support:
- The Can't Log In page, for password resets, unlocking your account and authenticator problems.
- If you think your account was compromised: secure your computer and email first, change your password, then add a Battle.net Authenticator.
- The Support portal, to reach a Game Master if that doesn't fix it.
Also check that you have active subscription or Game Time on that WoW account, because Forever needs one. See is WoW Forever free.
Realms not available
Forever doesn't have a realm list. You pick a ruleset instead, so there's no realm to find or select. See WoW Forever realmless explained.
Queues and full servers
Blizzard hasn't said how launch queues or capacity will work on a realmless setup. We won't guess at wait times. Blizzard's status channels above are where any announcement appears.
