Forever adds more than 1,000 quests, so a Classic leveling route only gets you part of the way. Here's what Blizzard has given a level, band by band. The full zone-by-zone route lives on our leveling route page, and we add zones there as we level through them.
1 to 12
The two Skyborne races start on Zephras Isle, levels 1 to 12 (Skyborne post). The eight original races use their usual starting areas.
13 to 33
Your first dungeons arrive here (dungeon post):
- Hall of Thanes, 13 to 18
- Ruins of Lordaeron, 15 to 20
- Excavation Site, 24 to 29
- City of Dalaran, 28 to 33 (you need the Kirin Tor's trust first)
30 to 45
The battleground opens at 30. Riverglades covers roughly the mid-30s to mid-40s with more than 150 new quests (launch post). The Drowned City (35 to 40) and Krol'dok Stronghold (40 to 45) sit in this band.
45 to 60
Alcaz Prison (48 to 53), Blackmaw Hold (55 to 60) and Shaper's Terrace (58 to 60). Mount Hyjal and Shen'dralas are new areas too, but Blizzard hasn't given them a level.
How we'd use this
Run each dungeon once while it's in your band, and quest in between. Class quests pull you away at set levels; see your class's quest page from any class guide.
