Alliance players reach Thelsamar in about 6 minutes from Stormwind. Horde players have no flight point in Loch Modan, so they head for Kargath and travel on from there. The steps below start at your capital's flight master and use the fastest mix of flights, boats and zeppelins in Forever's travel data.

Alliance: from Stormwind

  1. Fly from Stormwind to Thelsamar, about 6 minutes. The game routes you through Ironforge.

Horde: from Orgrimmar

There's no Horde flight point in Loch Modan. The closest Horde one on the map is Kargath, Badlands, about 1,425 yards from Thelsamar as the crow flies. The way in on foot can be longer, depending on the roads.

  1. Walk from the Orgrimmar flight master to the zeppelin tower outside Orgrimmar (447 yards, about 1 minute on foot).
  2. Take the zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Grom'gol. The ride takes about 1 minute, and one leaves about every 5 minutes.
  3. Walk from the Grom'gol zeppelin tower to the Grom'gol flight master (99 yards, under a minute on foot).
  4. Fly from Grom'gol to Kargath, about 5 minutes.
  5. Travel on into Loch Modan on foot or mounted.
