Alliance players reach Nethergarde Keep in about 3 minutes from Stormwind. Horde players have no flight point in Blasted Lands, so they head for Stonard and travel on from there. The steps below start at your capital's flight master and use the fastest mix of flights, boats and zeppelins in Forever's travel data.

Alliance: from Stormwind

  1. Fly from Stormwind to Nethergarde Keep, about 3 minutes.

About 3 minutes in all.

Horde: from Orgrimmar

There's no Horde flight point in Blasted Lands. The closest Horde one on the map is Stonard, Swamp of Sorrows, about 674 yards from Nethergarde Keep as the crow flies. The way in on foot can be longer, depending on the roads.

  1. Walk from the Orgrimmar flight master to the zeppelin tower outside Orgrimmar (447 yards, about 1 minute on foot).
  2. Take the zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Grom'gol. The ride takes about 1 minute, and one leaves about every 5 minutes.
  3. Walk from the Grom'gol zeppelin tower to the Grom'gol flight master (99 yards, under a minute on foot).
  4. Fly from Grom'gol to Stonard, about 3 minutes.
  5. Travel on into Blasted Lands on foot or mounted.

About 9 minutes to Stonard.

Good to know

  • You can only fly to flight points you've already found. Talk to each flight master on the way once.
  • Boats and zeppelins went missing for long stretches in launch week, and Blizzard added temporary portals near most docks. See boat or zeppelin not coming.
  • The times are estimates. Flight times were measured in Classic and boat timings are modelled, so allow a minute or two either way.
  • The Shortest Path Forever add-on plans any route like this in game.
