5 races can be a Shaman in Forever: Orc, Tauren, Troll, Windshaper Skyborne on the Horde side, Dwarf for the Alliance (Blizzard race table). New in Forever: Dwarf Shaman.

Our picks

Horde

  1. Windshaper Skyborne: Wind Blessed gives 2% haste to both melee and spells, which suits a class that swings and casts.
  2. Tauren: Endurance adds 5% Health, War Stomp has a 90-second cooldown, and Cultivation pairs with Herbalism.

Alliance

  1. Dwarf: The only Alliance Shaman, and new in Forever. Artisan's Precision gives 1% hit with spells and attacks, and Stoneform cuts Physical damage.

These are our opinion, based on Blizzard's beta notes. Blizzard says each race has two active and two passive racials tuned for similar offensive power, so faction, looks and who you play with can still decide it.
