4 races can be a Druid in Forever: Tauren, Windshaper Skyborne on the Horde side, Night Elf, High Order Skyborne for the Alliance (Blizzard race table).

Our picks

Horde

  1. Tauren: Endurance adds 5% Health for Bear, War Stomp works in forms, and Cultivation pairs with Herbalism.
  2. Windshaper Skyborne: Wind Blessed gives 2% haste and Skysight 15% run speed. New Skyborne forms too.

Alliance

  1. Night Elf: Shadowmeld works in forms, and Quickness's speed bonus now stacks with other speed effects.
  2. High Order Skyborne: 2% haste and Read Leyline's Mana regen. It can't be used while Innervate is active.

These are our opinion, based on Blizzard's beta notes. Blizzard says each race has two active and two passive racials tuned for similar offensive power, so faction, looks and who you play with can still decide it.

What each race gets

  • Tauren: War Stomp, Cultivation, Endurance, Plainsrunning.
  • Windshaper Skyborne: Walk on Air, Skysight, Wind Blessed, Elemental Insight.
  • Night Elf: Shadowmeld, Quickness, Wisp Form. Blizzard's posts name 3 of the 4.
  • High Order Skyborne: Walk on Air, Read Ley Line, Wind Blessed, Elemental Insight.
