Levelling: what to do at each level Beta data

Level as Arms.

  • One enemy at a time until 20, then two with Thunder Clap
  • Group up for elite quests and dungeons
  • Bandages on your bar: train First Aid early

Stats while levelling

  • Weapon damage first: a better two-hander beats almost any armor upgrade
  • Strength, then Stamina
  • Agility for crit, which also gives extra Rage in Forever

Top tips

  • Use Victory Rush right after each kill. It's free healing and costs no Rage.
  • Keep 10 Rage in reserve when you change stance: Tactical Mastery is baseline.
  • Train First Aid early and keep bandages on your bar.

Your spec as a tank Beta data

Talent build After launch

Level in Arms, then switch to Protection for your tank role (dual spec opens at 40). First point at 10, milestones at 11, 16, 21, 31. Respec: at your class trainer in a major city.

The point-by-point build with one-click copy arrives once the Forever talent trees are live and tested. Blizzard hasn't published the full trees, and we won't guess them.

What to grind Beta data

Professions for a Warrior

  • Mining + Blacksmithing: Mining pays for training while you level; Blacksmithing makes plate and sharpening stones.
  • First Aid: Bandages are your only heal besides Victory Rush (20).

Camping (new in Forever)

Cooking's campfire becomes a shared camp. Up to three nearby players can each add one profession-crafted Camp Feature; sit or craft at the camp for a minute to get its buffs. Some camp buffs don't stack with class buffs (Blizzard launch post).

Reputations and zone farming spots: after launch, once the new Forever zones and their factions are mapped on live realms.

Recommended add-ons

Picked for a tank from add-ons that have a Forever version. Each link opens our sister site, wowforeveraddons.com, with the live status and the official download.

Why Night Elf Beta data

Night Elf can play Warrior in Forever. We rank it below our top picks for Warrior; the race guide shows which races suit the class best.

Blizzard hasn't published the reworked Night Elf racials yet. We add them from the live client in launch week.
