Our notes

  • Arms is the natural leveling tree. Slow two-handers give more Rage per hit in Forever, so a slow weapon with a high top end is what you want.
  • Spearing Strike is the new 16-point talent. We'll describe what it does to the rotation once we've played it on live realms.

Where it ranks

ListRoleTierWhy
LevelingDPSBVictory Rush at 20 heals 10% per worthwhile kill; slow two-handers fill Rage faster.
DungeonsDPSBWeaponmaster covers every weapon type; less Rage on fast multi-target pulls than Fury.

Plans with Arms

Unverified Talent build: after launch. Blizzard has published the trees' new talents, not their point costs, so we don't post a build yet.
